Apparently I haven't been updating for a period of time.
Well, it was open house today!
Nothing interesting though, except for the fact that there were only about 10 people at the last Chinese talk.

I don't know what to say.
-Silence-
I just saw my cat attempting to squeeze through a little hole formed by a piece of cardboard and dustbin (the space between of course).
She has given up.
Now she's attempting to open the small cupboard.
She has opened it twice, but somehow she doesn't have the strength to open it completely, and it slams shut.
Now she's looking at it with longing eyes.
I shall open it for her then.
-Goes off to open cupboard-
Fine, she is poking her head into the cupboard now.
She'll probably go/ squeeze in next.

-Pause for a moment-
Half her body is inside. She reversed and went in again, like someone parking a car.
Now her whole body is inside and I can hear sounds of plastic bags (because she's squeezing through the cupboard and there are a lot of plastic bags inside).

I give up on lame posts.

I'm a huge procrastinator, yes I am.

I do that every lesson, somehow.
Lessons are super super boring.

I love photoshop brushes! They cheered up my day alright.

Yes, I am back.
I succumbed to the temptation of blogging.
I shall from this post onwards, use standard English and punctuation.
I mean it.

I came back because I have an inspiration for philosophy.
The big word today: Perfectionism
Perfectionism.
I know everyone wants to be perfect, but is anyone actually perfect?
Or rather, what is the true definition of perfect?
A lot of people go like, "Oh my gosh! I suck." and things like that.
Why can't people just be contented with what they have?
Why can't they just stop ranting about how bad they are in front of a person who is obviously inferior compared to them?
The feeling is really bad. Who feels good when someone else is saying that she is inferior right in front of you when you know that you are worse than her?
There's also this thing about height.
I don't really care about my height. It's either you're tall or you aren't.
However, there's a problem again. How tall is actually your tall?
You may think that, "Wow! She's so tall!" and then you go in front and tell her that.
You think she's tall because you're shorter than her.
Worse of all, she'll again, go like, "No! I think I'm super short! My ideal height is ______.", and the ideal height is much taller than yourself, not even one you will dare to dream of.
I really hate all this.
I really do.
It's irritating.
I seriously feel disgusted with all this.
Even though I should be going to study, I keep thinking of these people, and on impulse, I come and post about perfectionism.
Not that I don't want to be perfect, but it's totally impossible.
Who doesn't want to be a genius at both sports and studies?
Who doesn't want to be top of the class and excel?
I really should be going off to study and attempt to digest the notes, not memorise.
Memorising is a dumb thing to do, way too dumb.
If you memorise, you won't know how to actually apply it to daily life.
Your marks will be strictly limited to: memorising.
After the test, you'll probably forget everything, and until the exam comes again, you'll go and memorise everything.
I guess I better go study.
I have to. I must.
I'm not being a perfectionist.
I just do not want to disappoint myself and especially, my parents, who have placed their hopes on me.
They keep telling me to "keep it up" whenever I do well for something, I really appreciate that.
Even if what I do is not up to their/ my expectations, they will not scold me and instead, tell me to work harder next time. (And that's what I'm going to do.)
Hence I certainly do not want to disappoint them.

i seem to say that a lot of times.
oh well. anyways. i just read 20:03 as 10:03. =.=
LOL. then i was panicking why it was so late. then i realised that it was 8:03.
stupid me.

i came home from camp yesterday due to piano exam which i had today.
and i believe that i have flunked it. cause i prepared for style & period questions. and the examiner asked me mood & texture. D: and then she had to prompt me for texture, which i believe i scored real low for.
and then it was SUPER cold, causing my fingers to go *poof* stiff, which led to many slips and stuff. D: hopefully i can pass.
neng pass jiu hao~ no need merit or distinction.

and i was just wondering about this question:
why do people claim that they like this idol/group a lot when they don't even know his songs and stuff?
stupid. and they claim that they are loyal. if not, super. not pointing fingers alright. cause if you're thinking that it's you, it's definitely not you.
all this fangirlishness.
it's starting to become way too stupid.
and then if they know somebody who doesn't like the idol you like anymore, you'll say that she's dumb and DISLOYAL and blahblah.
disloyalty. well, what's the point of liking someone when you know that he/she is way older than you and there's no way that you will get to know him/her?
might as well just concentrate on ur studies while you're just only a little kid (in the context that you're not old enough for relationships)
at this point of time, study is REALLY priority. which i shall put all my focus on.
and then you shriek when you hear someone's songs. but is it his/her songs that you like, or is it his/her looks you like?
most probably looks. a person can have a sucky voice and stuff but you'll still like him, won't you?
like huang yi da for instance. i used to like his looks, but now i'm starting to think that he looks too hmm. let's just say girly. but his songs are nice, especially the lyrics which are superbly meaningful and gan ren. the melodies are also great.
fangirlishness won't last long, really. it's just a waste of time, energy and especially money.
money. yes. you spend like a lot of money on this idol, and then when you grow up and think that ur idol is old and everything, you'll regret.
maybe now you'll say nonono, he's forever shuai/ she's forever pretty!
but trust me, after 2 -3 years later or something, you'll definitely regret.
and i repeat definitely.
it's your choice, to choose your idol or choose your studies and potential in you.
i used to think that "oh, of course it's the first one!" but i'm really believing that it's the latter. and i bet you will when you escape this, let's just say in chinese, xuan wo.

today was CIP fair. :D
even the process of preparing it was really sucky, it turned out well. ^^
we had a lot of ppl at our stall.
but the gun sucked.
the first one spoiled, so we bought another one.
then the second one spoiled.
so we changed our game.
to throwing tennis balls at the plates instead of shooting them.
tennis balls were bouncing all over the place.

my bro, his gf && mum also came.
my bro was playing with the gun.
he aimed here and the gun went there. :D
so i commented that he was better with a real gun.
and he agreed.

we went to haunted house. it was okay.
went with my cousin, alethea, kimberly, xinyi && tricia.
we pretended to be scared and started screaming.
nothing much lar, just dark dark. and the ppl who were supposed to scare us were shining torch lights on their face and walking around.
some had face masks, some drew on their faces.
one of them was carrying a fake sword.
she poked me two times.
and she poked xinyi's face.

haha. just as i was abt to go, cheryl asked me: "did nickson come?"
i was like.. no.
then she asked, "who's nickson?"
then i said, "my nephew."
she continued, "so who's that guy in the brown shirt?"
i told her he's my bro.
she asked, "how old is he?"
i said, "21."
then she exclaimed, "but he looks so young!"

LOL. by the way, nickson's 13. 8 years of difference?! haha.
i told my bro abt our chat.
then he asked me, "should i be sad or happy?"

list of the books:
1. some chinese book called 只吃半饱 - from the name of it, u can see that it's some book about food xD but i dun really like it
2. an origami book - i got crazy over origami because of that book ^^ i spent the whole weekend folding stuff.
3. a book called the big empty - i haven't read it but my bro has (part of it). he says that book was published after the SARS outbreak. yar, it's probably suitable as it's about humans being wiped out by something.
4. ALIAS - read some parts of it. quite interesting. :D
5. book about scrapbooking techniques - i've just flipped through it, haven't really read it. =X

quite okay, we made fruit kebab.
you just cut up fruits into smaller pieces and stick them onto a satay stick
i rather eat them without putting them onto a satay stick =X

but it's on the fourth lesson.
&& we only have three lessons.
this sucks.

anyways, i'm quite looking forward to the CIP fair thing.
we got the nicer game, compared to others.
example of one:
knocking down 10 bowling pins with 2 coconuts.
that's dumb. =X muahahahaa

back from underwater world. xD
was quite fun overall, got to touch many marine animals.
wahaha. the bamboo shark and stingrays were nice to touch.
the pufferfish is sooo cute! ^^ xinyi liked it too.
just that the sleeping part. woke up 3 times in the middle of the night.
super cold. haha. suyun slept really well, cassandra too.

had this quiz like thing. we ran around underwater world. good exercise. nice way to burn calories too! LOL.
the dolphins are so adorable!! xD i like them a lot. but we could only touch a little of them. so sad.
but a very interesting experience!

aiya, i have nothing much to say. :D
so i'll just say my usuals.
I MISS ALL my relatives~ haha.
